HAMA @ ACCESS MOVE Detroit

I had the incredible opportunity to attend the ACCESS event in Michigan earlier this month, and it was truly a remarkable experience. The president of ACCESS, Maha Freij, is undeniably one of the most impressive women I've ever had the privilege of knowing. Her work spans an astonishing 51 years, during which she has built an entire community dedicated to helping refugees from all corners of the world. She is also the driving force behind the Arab American National Museum in MI and numerous other projects that make me immensely proud.

But the inspiration didn't stop there. Throughout the event, I had the pleasure of meeting numerous other remarkable women leaders in the region. Their stories and accomplishments left me in awe, reinforcing the belief that women supporting and believing in each other can achieve extraordinary things. What struck me even more was that Maha Friej's team predominantly consists of women, which is truly impressive and serves as a testament to her commitment to empowering women.

In addition to the remarkable women I encountered, I also had the privilege of meeting the extraordinary Michael Farah at the event. His presence further enriched the event and added another layer of inspiration to an already incredible gathering of individuals.

As I reflect on this memorable event, I am filled with gratitude and excitement for what the future holds. Stay tuned for more updates in the upcoming couple of days, as I have more exciting adventures planned in New York. I can't wait to share them with you all!

Let's continue to celebrate and support remarkable individuals like Maha Friej, Michael Farah, and all the extraordinary women leaders who inspire us every day. Together, we can create a world where empowerment knows no bounds. 🌍✨
