Speaker at UN on Internation Women day -2024

On this International Women Day, I aspire to acknowledge a collective celebration of women worldwide, yet the current circumstances, especially for Palestinian women and girls, dampen the joy.

The selective celebration of women based on agendas, religion, and regional conflicts suggests that societal safety, not just for women, is still a conquest.

While I've had the privilege of speaking on diverse platforms, sharing achievements, experiences, and insights globally, it's essential to pause and reflect on the realities faced by women in places like Gaza. Even in the USA, we acknowledge progress, but the journey towards true equality is ongoing in 2024.

humanity should transcend genderskin color, region, and religion, resisting the labels imposed by higher powers.
